  • Recheck seller key setup.
  • Retry camera access.
  • Switch from scanning to manual lookup.
  • Reinstall or reopen the app in the recommended mode.

Options

  • Use browser camera when supported.
  • Use PWA install prompts on mobile devices.
  • On iPhone PWA flows, rely on image/file-based scanning if live camera is limited.

Limits and important notes

  • Browser camera access usually requires HTTPS, except on localhost.
  • Camera permission must be granted.
  • If the QR code is damaged or missing ref, the pass cannot be opened.
  • Some visible scanner controls are technical or experimental and should not be treated as the main onboarding path.
